New Business Development and Marketing Assistant Director

In the early months of 2019, we welcomed several new staff members and said goodbye to a colleague who’s helped grow the business over the past two years. Mickey Bonin, Michigan Language Assessment’s director of business development and marketing, left on February 15 to take on a new challenge as the head of strategy and product at Cambridge Boxhill in London. Mickey began working for Michigan Language Assessment in April 2017. He established our sales teams in Latin America as well as created a dedicated marketing department at Michigan Language Assessment. His contributions to the organization will leave a lasting impact.

Meet Rita Simpson-Vlach, Educational Materials Developer

Rita Simpson-Vlach joined Michigan Language Assessment as the educational materials developer in the fall of 2018. FISK Brazil Celebrates 60 Years

More than one thousand FISK representatives from across Brazil and Argentina attended Congresso FISK 60 Anos at the Hotel Royal Palm Plaza Resort in Campinas.

NCLEX Tech Brief reporting on MELAB standard-setting study now available

The NCLEX Technical Brief describes the methodology and results of the standard setting study. It confirms the standard of a total passing score of 81 and a speaking score of 3 for the MELAB.
