Michigan Language Assessment is pleased to announce that four research grants have been awarded for 2019. The grant awards include three inaugural recipients of the Latin America Research Grants, which were established to support research on language assessment in Latin America.
Michigan Language Assessment will soon offer a more robust set of educational materials. Rita Simpson-Vlach joined Michigan Language Assessment as the educational materials developer in the fall of 2018.
MET Go! successfully launched in November 2018. Three Michigan Language Assessment test centers gave the 4-skills test for their students, most of whom ranged in age from 11 to 15. The Institute of Argentinian North American Cultural Exchange (IICANA), Alianza Cultural Uruguay, and Richmond Peru were the earliest adopters of this new exam.
