Michigan Language Assessment is undertaking a concordance study that will compare results from individuals who have taken both MET and IELTS Academic. Read on for more information and complete your application today!
Before Starting the Application
Please review the application criteria for acceptance into the study:
- You must be 17 years or older at the time of testing.
- Testing must occur at an authorized test center; remote tests will not be accepted.
- You need to complete both tests within 90 days of each other.
- If you’ve already taken MET and IELTS Academic, you can submit scores from both tests taken in 2023 or 2024. You must have taken the exams within 90 days of each other.
- If you have not yet taken or scheduled MET and IELTS Academic, you may still participate if you take both tests within 90 days of each other.
- You must complete your testing for both MET and IELTS Academic by October 25, 2024.
If you have already taken IELTS Academic, you will need to submit a pdf, jpg, or png file of your IELTS Academic Test Report. We will ask you to upload it during the application process, but do not worry if you don’t have it available. You will have a chance to submit it later!
