New partnership allows learners and professionals to test anytime, anywhere
Ann Arbor, MI [May 13, 2021] – Michigan Language Assessment, a joint venture between the University of Michigan and Cambridge Assessment English, today announced its partnership with Prometric, a global leader in technology-enabled testing and assessment solutions, to securely administer the Michigan English Test (MET) as an online, digital exam beginning this October.
By utilizing Prometric’s remote test-delivery platform ProProctor™ and its world-class secure testing network, Michigan Language Assessment will be able to offer people the opportunity to take the MET—a highly reliable assessment of English proficiency for educational and professional purposes —in their homes on any day of the year, from almost anywhere in the world.
But MET will not only be available at-home. Prometric’s vast global network of physical test centers also means that Michigan Language Assessment can offer the exam in countries and regions not previously serviced by Michigan Language Assessment’s existing network of authorized test centers.
