As the temperatures in Michigan cool, Michigan Language Assessment is preparing for the upcoming semester. Students around the globe are facing different circumstances—some are returning to classrooms while others continue to adjust to virtual learning. Throughout the challenges that we all are facing, Michigan Language Assessment is proud to stand alongside English language learners.

In some countries, Michigan Language Assessment Authorized Test Centers are preparing for safe administrations of the Michigan Tests. These test centers are implementing special protocols and operating based on local health guidelines. In other areas of the world, test centers and test takers are safely studying at home. Circumstances vary greatly right now, but no matter the situation, Michigan Language Assessment is working to support learners through the continued publication of new preparation resources and support materials for teachers and students.

While no one knows the exact course that this pandemic will take, we are actively working to envision what the future holds. In collaboration with test centers, and in response to input from test takers, teachers, and other stakeholders, Michigan Language Assessment is making plans for exam improvements, study material publications, and future webinars. In order to stay up to date, we recommend subscribing to receive email notifications about new resources.

We hope that you and your family are staying safe. The Michigan Language Assessment team sends our very best wishes to everyone who is navigating English language education during this time.
