Part of preparing to take a test is understanding how it’s scored. The Michigan English Test (MET) score reports will show a scaled score from 0-80 for each test section, and an average score for all sections taken. There is no pass or fail; instead, test takers are shown where they fall on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) scale.
Michigan Language Assessment uses scoring models to ensure that scores are comparable across different administrations and fair to all test takers, regardless of when they took the test.

- Scored by trained and certified raters using scoring criteria established by Michigan Language Assessment
