Verify Test Results
Beginning with the MET in August 2022, score reports issued by Michigan Language Assessment will contain two new pieces of information:
Verification Code
Approved recognizing organizations can use this code to check the validity of results.
Exam Location
The exam location will indicate if the candidate physically sat for the test at a test center or if they took the exam remotely. For more information on remote exam security requirements, click here.
There are two ways that recognizing organizations can verify a candidate’s results.
1. Verify Results via the Michigan Language Assessment Portal
If the verification code is present on the score report, you can log into the Michigan Language Assessment Portal and click on Verify Results.
2. Submit a Score Verification Request
If the score report does not contain a verification code, you may verify results by submitting the verification request form below.
Please note that this form may be used only by institutions and not by test takers. Test takers with questions about their results should fill out the contact form.
You may upload PDFs of score reports or certificates, or you can submit a spreadsheet with the test takers’ scores. To submit using a spreadsheet, download the template below. Upload your completed template or the PDFs of score reports or certificates in the appropriate field in the form and submit it upon form completion.
