Results for your ECPE are available approximately 6–8 weeks after testing

You’ll receive a digital score report and, if you pass, a Certificate of Proficiency in English. Some institutions may distribute paper certificates directly.

Showcase your English proficiency

Many institutions and employers recognize the ECPE. You can share your score report with any  authorized recognizing organizations by using the Michigan Language Assessment Portal.

ECPE Results FAQ

  • ECPE results are typically available within 6–8 weeks after your test date. Your test center will notify you when your results are ready.

  • Yes, if you pass the ECPE, you will receive a Certificate of Proficiency in English. The certificate may be sent to your test center for distribution or mailed to you directly.

  • The ECPE certifies advanced English proficiency at CEFR level C2. This level indicates you can communicate effectively in most social, academic, and workplace situations.

  • You can share your ECPE certificate directly with organizations. If you need official score verification, contact your test center or reach out to Michigan Language Assessment for assistance.
